Flag 2 Flag is a free 9/11 Memorial Ruck March to honor our Country, Firefighters and Law Enforcement. We are honored to be hosting this annual tradition founded by Ted Taylor that benefits Sons of the Flag. This is a weighted ruck to symbolize the hardships borne by those who have sacrificed so much: victims, survivors and their families. The total distance is approximately 5 miles. Please be prepared with water and food to sustain you. This is a point to point event so please arrange for transportation back to your vehicle from the finish location if you do not want to ruck back to the starting point. Even though the event is free to participate in, we ask you to register so we can anticipate the number of people attending.
If you are unable to join us in person, we encourage you to gather up some friends, family, co-workers, gym buddies, etc and complete this virtually anytime, anywhere. Grab a ruck/pack, pack it with weight of your choice and ruck 5 miles in the month of September.
Patches and shirts are available for sale for those who complete this event in person or virtually!
